Wildhorse Ranch Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Gilbert, Arizona, dedicated to saving animals from abuse, neglect, slaughter, and premature death. Founded in 1995, the rescue operates on a dual model of adoption and permanent sanctuary, providing every rescued equine with specialized veterinary triage, meticulous nutritional staging, and tailored rehabilitation.

While the organization specializes in protecting wild mustangs, domestic horses, and mules, it also stands as an official retirement safety net for working animals from the US Forest Service and the US Cavalry. Funded wholly by public donations and sponsorships, the ranch additionally operates a dedicated cat sanctuary known as "Kitty City" and coordinates targeted regional medical aid for animals in remote areas.
