Stray Animal Foundation of India
Stray Animal Foundation of India (SAFI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, with on-the-ground rescue operations based in Hyderabad, India. The organization focuses on rescuing, treating, and protecting abused, injured, and street animals—primarily community dogs and cats—through mass sterilization (ABC/TNR), rabies vaccinations, emergency medical triage, and community humane education.
Operating through partnerships with local Indian shelters, veterinary teams, and dedicated sanctuary care, SAFI rehabilitates vulnerable animals and coordinates international flight transports to place paralyzed, disabled, or high-need street dogs into permanent adoptive homes across the United States. The organization receives no government funding and relies entirely on public donations, charitable grants, and donor sponsorships to fund its rescue missions and medical care.

The PetAve.com Promise
Animals over profits: Unlike typical corporate chains, we are completely against selling animals — always, now, and forever.
You choose where 25% of the earnings goes: We believe in full transparency — we calculate this 25% before paying for any executive salaries or business overhead. By skipping the fancy corporate costs, we ensure the money actually lands where it belongs: with the animals.
