Save Maui Cats, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to managing the welfare of the estimated 40,000 free-roaming cats throughout Maui. Through a robust, all-volunteer Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) program, the rescue has successfully fixed over 1,700 cats and continues to provide nightly feedings for more than 400 healthy, sterilized cats across the island.

Operating as a 100% volunteer-based group, Save Maui Cats relies on community support to address the critical overpopulation crisis and the ongoing impacts of local disasters. By fostering socialized cats and kittens and facilitating adoptions both locally and through mainland partnerships, the organization works to protect Maui’s fragile ecosystem while ensuring every cat has the opportunity to thrive in a safe environment.
