The East Maui Animal Refuge, also known as "The Boo Boo Zoo," is a non-profit, no-kill sanctuary in Haiku, Hawaii. Dedicated to rescuing injured and orphaned animals, the two-acre sanctuary provides permanent housing and medical care to over 500 diverse residents, including cats, dogs, livestock, and native wildlife.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization, the refuge relies entirely on private donations and community support to fund its operations. By offering a lifelong safe haven to animals in distress, the refuge ensures even the most vulnerable creatures can live out their lives in peace and comfort.
