DFW Pug Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3)rescue organization located in Grapevine, Texas, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and beyond. Founded in 1997, the organization is one of the largest pug-specific rescues in the United States, dedicated to the philosophy of No Pug Left Behind. They rescue all purebred pugs regardless of age or medical condition, placing approximately 10 pugs a week into loving homes and having successfully rescued and rehomed over 7,500 pugs since their inception.

As a 100% foster and volunteer-based organization, DFW Pug Rescue relies on the generosity and commitment of the community to promote animal welfare and create a brighter future for pets in need.With no central facility, they depend on a network of over 200 foster and respite homes to provide a safe haven for pugs while they receive necessary veterinary care — which accounts for over 90% of their annual budget — ensuring every pug is healthy and ready for their forever home.
