Save A Kitty Athens is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Athens, Tennessee. The organization rescues,rehabilitates, and rehomes homeless, stray, and at-risk cats and kittens, providing veterinary intake triage, vaccinations,testing, and spay/neuter services.

Operating through a network of volunteer foster homes rather than a traditional shelter facility, the rescue coordinates both local placements and regional transport adoptions to adoptive families across the New England and Mid-Atlantic areas. Save A Kitty Athens is funded through direct public donations, charitable grants, and adoption fees.
