Maybel’s Legacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue based in Dorr, Michigan, dedicated to saving dogs facing abandonment, neglect, or euthanasia. The rescue focuses primarily on senior, hospice, and medical-needs cases, providing complete veterinary treatment and individualized care to every dog.

Operating through an all-volunteer foster home network rather than a facility, the organization rehabilitates animals in loving family settings. Supported by grassroots donations, Maybel’s Legacy pairs adoptable dogs with permanent homes while providing dedicated hospice care for those in their final days.
