Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter (legally operating as the Morongo Basin Humane Society) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter based in Joshua Tree, California, serving the high desert and Morongo Basin communities. Established in 1972 and operating as a dedicated no-kill organization since 2005, it rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned, homeless, and at-risk dogs and cats—often taking in pets from overburdened municipal shelters.
