Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter located in St. James City, Florida, dedicated to providing a second chance for abandoned and unwanted pets. The sanctuary currently houses nearly 200 healthy cats and kittens, as well as those with special needs, including FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) positive residents. Unlike traditional facilities, the sanctuary utilizes a cage-free environment where cats live in open rooms, receiving personalized care and affection from a dedicated team of volunteers.

The organization operates with a mission to find permanent, loving homes while offering unique support services like free boarding and nail trims for all its adoptees.
