Ham and Beans Canine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer dog rescue based in the greater Dayton and Huber Heights area of Ohio. The organization is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned, stray, and at-risk dogs from regional shelters and high-intake situations, providing intake veterinary care, core vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter services.

Operating entirely through a volunteer foster home network rather than a traditional brick-and-mortar shelter facility, the rescue assesses temperament, manages behavioral needs, and socializes dogs within home environments. Supported fully by public donations, community fundraisers, and adoption fees, Ham and Beans Canine Rescue facilitates screened adoptions to match dogs with safe, permanent homes.
