Friends of DACC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization based in Los Angeles County, California, dedicated to supporting the animals at the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) shelters. The organization focuses on bridging resource gaps by funding critical veterinary medical care, specialized treatments,surgical procedures, and enrichment supplies for shelter animals at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding or medical needs.

Operating primarily in direct coordination with county shelter facilities and foster networks, the organization raises funds to sponsor medical cases and facilitate rescue pull efforts. Friends of DACC is funded entirely through public donations,community fundraisers, and charitable grants.
