The Dubois County Humane Society (DCHS) is a 501(c)(3) no-kill nonprofit in Jasper, Indiana, providing care and a safety net for homeless companion animals. Operating out of its Wernsing Road shelter facility with staff and volunteers, DCHS provides every dog and cat with essential vaccinations, microchipping, and mandatory sterilization prior to adoption.

Funded entirely by public donations and local partnerships rather than tax dollars, the organization works to improve regional animal welfare. To tackle pet overpopulation at its root, DCHS also manages an active, low-cost spay and neuter program for the public.
