Cowboy Up Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based animal rescue based in Pelham, Alabama, serving central Alabama and partnering with transport networks across New England. The organization is dedicated to pulling at-risk, abandoned, and forgotten dogs from high-kill environments, providing comprehensive veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and behavioral rehabilitation.

Operating entirely through a volunteer foster home network rather than a physical shelter facility, the rescue prepares dogs for adoption in domestic settings and coordinates regular bi-monthly out-of-state transports to vetted adoptive families.Funded completely by public donations and adoption fees, Cowboy Up Animal Rescue conducts thorough applicant vetting—including veterinary checks and virtual meet-and-greets—to match each dog with a permanent home.

Animals over profits: Unlike typical corporate chains, we are completely against selling animals — always, now, and forever.

You choose where 25% of the earnings goes: We believe in full transparency — we calculate this 25% before paying for any executive salaries or business overhead. By skipping the fancy corporate costs, we ensure the money actually lands where it belongs: with the animals.
