About Chaps Chance
Champs Chance Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in Quincy, Florida, dedicated to providing a safety net for animals with the greatest need. Founded by Alicia Bopp to honor the legacy of a resilient puppy named Champ, the rescue specifically focuses on saving dogs that are often turned away by traditional shelters due to severe medical conditions, extensive care requirements, or high-kill shelter triage. Serving Gadsden, Leon, and surrounding North Florida counties, the organization provides critical medical rehabilitation, comprehensive vetting, and dedicated advocacy to ensure every vulnerable dog gets a fighting chance.
Operating through a dedicated volunteer network, Champs Chance emphasizes careful rehabilitation to prepare its rescues for permanent placement. To ensure a lifelong, harmonious match, the rescue utilizes a thorough adoption process that includes mandatory vet reference checks and trial sleepovers for prospective families. Supported entirely by public donations, grassroots fundraising, and local fosters, the rescue works tirelessly to fill critical resource gaps in the region and ensure that no overlooked companion animal is left behind.

The PetAve.com Promise
Animals over profits: Unlike typical corporate chains, we are completely against selling animals — always, now, and forever.
You choose where 25% of the earnings goes: We believe in full transparency — we calculate this 25% before paying for any executive salaries or business overhead. By skipping the fancy corporate costs, we ensure the money actually lands where it belongs: with the animals.
