Brick City Kitties Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer feline rescue organization based in Newark, New Jersey, serving Essex County and surrounding areas. The organization rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned, stray, and vulnerable cats and kittens while actively managing community feral colonies through robust Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) and daily feeding initiatives.

Operating entirely through a network of volunteer foster homes rather than a physical shelter facility, the rescue socializes adoptable cats in domestic environments and provides complete intake veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinations, and testing. Brick City Kitties Rescue is funded entirely through public donations, community fundraisers, and adoption fees, placing vetted cats into screened permanent homes.

Animals over profits: Unlike typical corporate chains, we are completely against selling animals — always, now, and forever.

You choose where 25% of the earnings goes: We believe in full transparency — we calculate this 25% before paying for any executive salaries or business overhead. By skipping the fancy corporate costs, we ensure the money actually lands where it belongs: with the animals.
