BlueFeather Animal Sanctuary (also known as BlueFeather Horse Sanctuary & Misfit Mustangs) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit refuge based in Lovelock, Nevada, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong sanctuary to animals in need. Operating on a 40-acre off-grid haven, the sanctuary cares for wild mustangs, neglected horses, farm livestock, and companion animals requiring specialized medical attention or peaceful retirement.

Supported entirely by public donations and community partnerships, the organization ensures each resident receives daily care, nutritional support, and veterinary rehabilitation without the threat of slaughter or neglect. While primarily serving as a permanent sanctuary for unadoptable and senior animals, the group also works to place adoptable dogs and horses into verified forever homes.
