The Antietam Humane Society (AHS) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, serving southern Franklin County through a physical shelter on Lyons Road. The organization provides essential vaccinations, diagnostic screenings, and behavioral assessments for stray, abandoned, and surrendered companion animals.

Beyond shelter care, AHS combats regional pet overpopulation with an on-site, low-cost feline clinic offering spay/neuter services and TNVR for community cats. Funded by public support, the society also investigates local animal cruelty complaints and hosts community socialization programs like youth reading initiatives.
